I would imagine it is about those deliberately targeting DTD and/or "buying" "ill fitting" items with the sole intention of returning them to gain a financial advantage.

some may not see it as criminal but it could be seen as fraudulently obtaining goods by deception.

I wouldn't have thought it was DTD as that is something Mr Lewis actively encouraged in the past if my memory serves me right. :o

It has got me scratching my head as to what it could be but I have been skimming so much lately I don't really take everything in probably a good job...

    .

Could that really be seen in that light? Wouldn't there have to be something in the T&C specifically against it - otherwise how is the consumer expected to know how the store expects their promotion to be used?

I don't think it's that either if I'm honest, don't think we are on the right line, the one that's been crossed that is.

We've received reports about posts on here possibly advocating fraud and have removed some posts.

We can't monitor this thread but please remember MoneySavingExpert is about saving money legally. If you're at all unsure please don't post.

    Thanks

Not sure why it would need to be in T&C's! if you are deliberately buying "ill fitting" items during double up or to reach a cond spend with the sole intention of returning them it is clearly not in the spirit of the promo and would possibly seen as fraud.

    it is certainly questionable.
