Ditto here - so that's 2 of us on the Waitrose don't love us any more.
Might go and have a moan at them on twitter - probably save mailings are still going out which we know they are not :(

I had a really good run on them last year so I shouldn't really complain. But would be nice to have one last play before PYO finishes.

Last time I shopped with them was between xmas and new year, £50 worth of xmas sale stuff. :o Though they might have wanted to tempt me back by now. :rotfl:

It really makes no sense at all when they send them out, DD got sets before xmas and last week. She shops there quite regularly, maybe that's the trick.

Do you live that far away michaels it's not worth your bother?

You can see from MKS's shop you don't have to spend the full amount for the vouchers to work.

Postman walked past us again today. :(

It is on the other side of town in a direction we just don't go. We would go and do the frozen peas but the freezer is full of some very cheap chips and now loads of pizza. This is a shame because there is also the 10 back on 30 hsbc visa offer at Iceland that again we are lacking the freezer space for. Unfortunately DW (and I) are such hoarders that there is no room anywhere for another freezer....
    I think....

    Just for you Savvy :rotfl:

    Floralys
    60 x 3 ply sheets per roll, approx sheet size 224mm x 227mm

Only other comparison I have in are Plenty, the Seasonal One
    50 x 2ply sheets per roll, approx sheet size 229mm x 228mm

I think for 25p each the Floralys are pretty decent and good value.

I wouldn't use so many if I could persuade the cats to wipe their feet when they came in :D

    .

Oh I wouldn't have them if they're only 50 sheets - I should want four times that much for 50 pence:rotfl:.

I've actually just come back from Lidl, in advance of any weekend offers and it seems quite hopeless - the Spring Onions that I last saw on 29p on 29th January (glad I noted that) are now on "price cut" at 39p so have increased in price compared to back then. The best it seems to me they can offer is a net of lemons at 69p for half the weight that I could have got from M at 50p. Just so so pricey these "discount" stores:rotfl::rotfl:. (I do think Aldi and Lidl are quite expensive - or, at least, are capable of being on some or even many items - I know that it goes against what people generally seem to believe; however the prices on the 'everyday' ranges I don't think are generally cheaper than the main supermarkets (excluding Sains.) but are usually, it seems to me, about the same price as the value range of elsewhere (that said, T have been putting up some prices and it depends which items you get - M seems now the cheapest generally, therefore Avs M on many, but not on Fromage Frais or Chocolate Mousses - T are cheaper on some items therefore but not on others and Mushy Peas have been against S as one of the extremely few items that they have been cheaper on). The offers on products from Aldi/Lidl can often be beaten by prices that are or recently have been available in the major supermarkets on RTCs and sometimes those supermarkets' prices can be cheaper as with, for example, larger pack sizes below £1 compared to Poundland's versions. Every place has its best items and, it seems to me, a whole lot lot more that don't represent the best price on the market.)

At the moment, Lidl is still cheapest, as far as I know, on frozen sweetcorn - 1Kg is still at 79p. (The 79p version in Aldi is lower weight at 900g, so beware on that one.) Some of the Super6 offers in Aldi can be good - though I have ruled out every one of the current ones as of yesterday I think:rotfl: - but almost everything else is, it seems to me, either same price as elsewhere or more expensive. Beyond the loss leaders and glitches (even the latter don't always work out good), I think all stores are hellishly expensive:rotfl:. And Aldi and Lidl also introduce premium ranges of products, doubtless playing on the psychology that, because people are paying a fairly cheap price (which I think they often aren't but merely think they are) for everything else, they can suddenly pay many pounds on some expensive premium wine or special meal - well, not my idea of doing things! If you are saving, it is then no point to spend the saving on some expensive item you wouldn't otherwise have bought as the money is then just going to them in the end. As I say, the same as every other supermarket, apart from perhaps approximately one item each, Aldi and Lidl - v. expensive places to shop:rotfl::rotfl:!

Aldi did have pears cheaper last week - 45p. That Super6 offer is no longer on, the pears are now higher price it seems, and I think none of the prices on any of the current offers are any good. Pears are still 49p in T until what is supposed to be 20th February, but I think T have actually worked out cheaper since I got one extra pear in a pack from there compared to Aldi last time and thus it is better value. I also turned round and saw the Perfectly Imperfect Apples were in my store - 10 in a pack this time - and wish I hadn't as I spent a fortune on bags of fruit:rotfl:. Somehow I had to buy two:eek: bags of each due to the pears offer supposed to be ending fairly soon and due to thinking I may not have Perfectly Imperfect Apples available in my store next time:doh:. You just end up buying twice as much when something is on offer so making no saving:rotfl:.

I'm not sure why when we take something out of the freezer it just seems to sigh with relief and fill the gap so it doesn't look like we have taken anything out. It's a huge chest freezer too. :o

Now hoarding, funny you should mention that...:o
