Just out of curiosity, did they actually swipe their Nectar card on that transaction?

I think you have to in order to get a voucher.

I thought that, but then why do they swipe it and not want their till spits? The lady by me yesterday didn't want any of it, yet she must have swiped her card, so presumably she collects points. Bit odd.

    Another 500 on £10 fuel.

    So that's £30 spent, 2,000 points total.

I got another 500 on fuel today and 200 in store.
SA couldn’t put through a 1000 one with my £10 shop as both amounts were the same. CS refused to do it. So I went and bought a couple of bananas to get rid of the last couple. I didn’t trust myself to remember about them.

Also found a 100 points when you spend £4 in Boots just sitting in the basket I picked up:) along with a £3 off No7 coupon.

Thanks for the heads up on the 10p mincemeat elaine. I found it where you said:)

afternoon all - been AWOL for a few days ...

Eldest child had a Big Birthday in January so she decided she wanted her party with a 90s theme school disco style and fancy dress in an old hall so she booked a hall in a village close to where her in-laws live and the party was had on Saturday night complete with very loud DJ and enormous bouncy castle. A good time was had by all - 2 of their friends came north with them but the rest were local from the days when they both lived and worked up there after uni. Eldest son and her GF came up on the train and stayed at the Holiday Inn express. We drove up and stayed at a local premier inn on Friday and Saturday night.
We had to go back to the hall this morning for 9 o'clock for the big clean up operation - I think there was less mess in March when we did the big clean up after the wedding with twice as many people. We had made futile attempts to keep on top of the mess on the party night but it over whelmed us.

    So we are very shattered.

We have managed some sainsbbos trips to get petrol and a few other shops - only two 200 pointers but the rest were very good.

We had lunch in ikea on the way up on Friday and I collected my £5 birthday voucher - I got a plant for £6 - five pound voucher and one pound real money - a succulent which I think will divide up nicely.
Friday night we went to Frankie and Bennies - I downloaded the app which gave me a £10 off two mains or a 50% off two mains but using the 50% voucher you could also have 2 desserts free- chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. So as we only had water to drink the final bill came to less than £10 :T
(I gave OH the choice of Bella Italia or F&B so he decided to do something different - I've still got some BI meals to have with AP but I think there is still quite a long expiry on them)
Saturday morning we finally got to marks but the sale was long gone inevitably. There was an offer on the 00002 app buy a pannini in Caf! Neros and get a hot drink free so that was lunch - OH was keen to got the marks caf! but I persuaded him to do something different. Panninis and hot chocolate go well together - who knew! There was a bit of a mess up with the payment so the nice chap gave me a full stamped loyalty card :T
I then used the Virgin red app offer buy one hot drink get another free which simply never works for me but the chap put it through anyway for me. My purple nectar Am ex card has an offer - spend £x and %? off - might have spent enough.

Then we went for a walk in the rain to get some fresh air and to to do the Owl trail and finished off in the caf! with soup and big chunks of bread - using up the remaining credit on a National Trust gift card I had last year. We were eating at the party so there didn't seem any point in having an early dinner and then eating again all evening.

The weirdest thing just happened when I tried to post, it didn't post and took me to a random isolated post from several days ago. Perhaps I hit previous thread link, who knows.

...was just saying lady at Sainsbury's told me they have been told this morning not to scan nectar card with gift card purchases. I aborted and then bought one with a tub of marg, which was fine.

Eta yes, i must have hit previous thread link.

The lady in front of me bought a Google play one and got the bonus points:)
