Virgin do the same, although you can do it for free if you wait until 24 hours before the flight. We've opted to pay the £40 each way for the extra leg room (I really don't fancy being cramped for a 7 hour flight)

Yes, stores can, if they wish, change the standard 'set' price - but normally for end of line clearance or 'special' buys. For some reason ? your store must have overridden the yog price

Just checked out the Riu you stayed in, thankyou. And also found another slightly cheaper Riu Yucatan same area. Mexico was top of DD's list and with a long haul discount code of £200 off, brings it down to about our budget. Just have to hope it doesn't go up too much in the next week. DD has an appointment on Tuesday and I can't book before then...
