I got quite a few bits a 6ft pop up silver tree and a light up multi coloured decoration tree thing original price £50! 10p each plus loads of window stickers, wrapping paper, led canvases which are really nice and some money envelopes for the ungratefuls (the niece and nephew that no matter what you get it isn't good enough) then called at boots to return 2 things bought on Friday but realised someone had nicked stuff and stuck their fingers in, place was ransacked in appearance nothing left there lol
We have a shop called What which is on the lines of Wilko closing next wednesday and we are having Wilko instead. Hoorah!!
On the subject of presents we went for dinner with my 13 year old niece recently. every year she gets hand me down clothes etc for her bday from her aunty who has a teenage daughter but couple of years ago my sister in law told them to stop doing it as she is older now and doesnt want used presents. We all gave her money and little pressies so she could but her own things and right at the end of the meal the uncle ( aunty and cousins mad an excuse not to come ) gave her the present. It was wrapped in used paper and was a Jack Wills make up bag that was used and had her cousins name in Sharpie written on it. She hid her feelings really well . How unkind people are0 -

I had a sister in law that did this to my children - but asked for specific gifts for hers.
The children used to look for the written in parts of games and the missing stickers etc.
They were very well off compared to us and after my parents in law passed we fell out as they came around the day after the second bereavement with carrier bags and went through the house looking for jewellery and money0 -

Regarding emptying your in laws house I think my husband's wife might be the same when Mum goes but I intend to take all the jewellery and put it in my sisters safe so it can be fairly shared out.
Better not to give a present at all than give something used!!0 -

Well my first package didn't arrive and my second one is due today between 11.10 and 1.10, no sign so far.
I have to be honest if they decided to honour the glitch to gain new customers they're not scoring very high up to now.
