Just the usual reminder that something that was £10 in Boots would cost you £6.67 if bought in 3 for 2 pre-Christmas. With "70%" off tomorrow same item would cost you £3. Instead of paying £6.67 you will be paying £3 so the real discount is only 55%, not 70%. No thanks.:money:0

Thanks emerald,
I'll try it but pretty sure it won't work. This is first generation which was discontinued in 2012 so if yours is a couple of years old it must be 2nd generation. They have a tiny hole in the side near the bottom I think. If you put a little pin in there it should pop out so you can insert a sim. The technology in them is slightly different I think.
Oh well, I'll have to put it on eBay.0 -
For anyone wanting an NFC phone on the cheaper side I’ve just seen this one at Argos. £55 (no top up through fast track).
http://www.argos.co.uk/product/7406494
Says ‘Contactless payment’ in the description so must be NFC (need to double check though as this is Argos).
Unfortunately no i don’t think it has NFC - mixed information online but no mention of nfc in the manual https://www.vodafone.com/content/dam/group/devices/downloads/smarte8/VFD_510_English_User_Manual.pdf
It’s a minefield! And the Voda website is useless with no information at all.
