I clicked "I'm in" and it told me AP can't be used in shops on this device. My Nexus 7 does not support HCE. Looks like I bought the wrong model :mad:

Quite funny, they were just saying that May and Macron arrived at Sandhurst in the rain. We live no more than a couple of miles from there and I was out on my bike at the time, no sign of any rain :eek:

You need NFC (near field communication) to be able to use AP in the shops - you can use with a wifi connection, but it needs the NFC chip.

Assuming this is the same one - have you turned it on?

Yes NFC is on and it's the right version of kit Kat but I'm getting a notification that it can't be used in shops. From googling it I'm pretty sure emeralds must be a different one. 2nd generation maybe...

Hi I find the Wi-fi in Tesco ok but i do have a mifi unit as well for stores that aren t very good. I ve used it in shops but the only issue for me was the case I had on it. It isn’t as easy as a phone as it’s bigger. Just try it and see how you get on.
