I was turned down as my husband left me last summer after 27 years of being together and they think it is too soon for me to take on another person that will have emotional issues when i am still dealing with my own and my two DD. I agree with them and maybe in 6 months i can re apply, they suggested after 2 months but on reflection i think i need longer. His decision to leave was totally unexpected and has caused a lot of heart ache.
I was looking to foster mother and baby as we have a spare room with an en-suite(converted garage).
I have always been a stay at home mum and have loved looking after my children so like you thought i'd like to give something to another person to help them on their life journey.
    Good luck[/QUOTE]

    How terrible for you:o

I don't cart it around with me, sometimes it involves crawling under desks etc, really do not want to wreck it. Not sure I could put you to shame, but I don't think I really want to know! One day I wore a step counter into work when I was working in Martins', just walking around serving customers and walking out back and back I got through 3 miles in 4 hours, and that was a quiet day. This is far more full on when I am working with OH, which is not every day. I think that I do enough to keep reasonably fit, that is all I am interested in.

I was not reasonably fit.... but am getting there!

I’m getting rid of the integrated freezer from the kitchen to put in an oven.....I haven’t got a conventional oven. I’ll still have the freezer in the utility room though.
I was looking at the tall freezers for the garage as well as the chest freezers. I’m frightened if I get a chest freezer I’ll never see the bottom of it and might even fall in:rotfl: There’s less room in the tall freezers but they look so much easier to access.

When we eventually get the kitchen done, we are having a double height fridge and a double height freezer in the kitchen for daily use, and a chest freezer in the garage.

Would you be allowed to wear one in a kitchen ?

I wouldn't but I am allowed my phone in pocket on silence :)

That’s true Tweets . I only wear my wedding ring at work , take my watch off everyday . Don’t suppose the fitbit would work in my pocket
