It has been raining here all day until about 3pm, when I finally managed to get out and take a walk to A for mullers. I have just managed to get my 10,000 steps in....I did have to run around the lounge a few times though :rotfl: DH thinks I am bonkers :o

I was the same TM, pondering a C/C for tomorrow - they are really nice biscuits - but I thought one box of each, just enough to scratch the itch :rotfl:

    I’m still dithering;)

I’m not keen to build up an online APG as it makes you spend more I think.

I've decided to average 10,000 a day rather than hit 10,000 a day as I'm much the same. Somedays I'll walk for miles... Others... NIL. NADA. NOTHING. :rotfl:

I am the same, but am hoping to improve on this.

I am banking anything I do over the 20,000 steps for days that I am unable to spend the time walking, some days I work from 6 am to the early hours of the next morning and then start again at 6 am.... I won't be walking on these day.

I am not joining in, no plans to get a fitbit or any such thing. Mainly because if I want to go anywhere I cycle, we go walking a few miles in the woods most Sundays, was up there chasing the grandkids today, only an hour and a half today though, and when I am out working with OH I spend my time walking up and down stairs constantly. In between I walk to any shops I need, or cycle. I really think it would be a little pointless to do it any other way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Does your mobile phone count steps? I bet you could put us to shame with all that walking!

please has anyone got any advice on fitbits please.

i am looking at getting one, but like tweets i work in a kitchen. i spend a lot of my time in the sink washing up, so it would need to be fairly waterproof. any advice recomendations please. thank you

I don't cart it around with me, sometimes it involves crawling under desks etc, really do not want to wreck it. Not sure I could put you to shame, but I don't think I really want to know! One day I wore a step counter into work when I was working in Martins', just walking around serving customers and walking out back and back I got through 3 miles in 4 hours, and that was a quiet day. This is far more full on when I am working with OH, which is not every day. I think that I do enough to keep reasonably fit, that is all I am interested in.
