Quote from enterprise...
If you can hang on a while and have a Lidl nearby, they normally do one around the £20 mark around the summer time.

Yes I have 1 just up the road I'll keep a look out for them
Thanks enterprise0 -
Very very impressed:)
We are planning a new kitchen in the new year and I’ve come up with a brilliant idea. I’m thinking that we could replace our built in kitchen freezer with a larger freezer in the garage which will allow me to fully take advantage of whoopsies:D
I’ve been reading up and it looks like there’s only the Beko brand that will offer a guarantee for garage use. Has anyone else any experience of freezers in their garages? To do is to be. Rousseau

Not sure if I will make it to midnight, so want to say a happy New Year to you all, I hope that all that are grieving can find a little solace, all that are suffering can find relief, and the rest of you can find some brilliant glitches xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I did the same research when looking for one for our garage, went for the big chest it even comes with a lock and 2 keys.
You can almost fit a house in it. Would recommend for how much you can fit in it, has 3 baskets and a divider which gives a separate end section, we use that bit to stack recycled takeaway tubs with homemade meals and blanched veg or home grown fruit.
Have had it over a year now but not managed to get it empty enough to defrost, that is going to be a problem I think.0 -

When I want to defrost my 300 litre freezer I put the frozen food in bags in a pile under a duvet. I defrost the freezer with a mini steam cleaner so it is done quickly, stuff is normally out of the freezer for no more than 2 hours. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Pretty sure it's this one,

It has 36 hours power failure storage too. I know that was something else I looked at, think the chest freezers come out better than the upright on power failure storage.0 -
It seems a good time to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2018.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to the success of this thread.....you save me a fortune year after year and enrich my life with your stories, jokes, anecdotes and real life dramas.
