I think DM might have escaped to foreign climes:)

I was hoping to escape for a nice lunch out but may not bother if the snow starts. There’s plenty to occupy me around the house:)

Woopsies have been amazing this week for fruit & veg. Got 10 punnets lovely juicy plums for 5p each. Just stood and de-stoned them and they are nicely bubbling in my jam pan so will get approx 6kg home made jam for family & friends for less than £3.
Now, what can I do with 6kg of clementines? Got nets of 1.5kg for 10p each and brought them home as had family over and no-one wanted them! I was sure they would all take a couple each. They should keep okay for next week for work.

Good morning all, happy Friday.

No snow here and although it was really frosty and icy last night when I was going to bed its all gone now.

My DD and I were in Ts yesterday, on the way out one of the managers and a security guard stopped us. I thought uh oh!

She had just dismantled the display christmas tree and asked did we want it! I was gobsmacked but my DD said oh yes, thank you we'd love it. So we arrived home with a dismantled 6ft white christmas tree and stand.
