Think I agree with peppers' maths, although rather befuddled so off to bed:think:
Busy shopping day today, not looking forward to a crowded car park and Store, although I hope it is dry and windy as it should be a good day for wombles:T Then off down to that London Town to see my DS's Band play:j
Goodnight!
ChelseaFred:)
Morning, strange one. I have added 3 to online basket and the multibuy comes off.
I have other chocs in 3 for £10 in basket (Thorntons and Lindor) and offer still showing on those.

Just wondering if offer going to end tonight but multi taken off already, but not showing online.
Could do with some wombles with chocs on.

Really pleased you are going to have your big sis and bil come for Christmas marmite, especially after all your preps and excitement.
I was just going to offer to take your beautiful Christmas cake off your hands though, it would have been far too much for you and the dawg :rotfl:

I do Di, having read this on google a bit back
"Turnips and parsnips requires a brief heat treatment, called blanching, in boiling water or steam, to destroy the enzymes before freezing. 2 minutes is the duration that should be just long enough to stop the action of the enzymes and kill the bacteria in turnips and parsnips."

Thank you I think I may do carrots, parsnips together so I'm not sure its worth the faf I might just do them on the day, oh cauliflower cheese all done and frozen too. Think I might get the Turkey out today it takes an age to defrost in the fridge and with a crown you can't tell if its defrosted thoroughly to the middle.
My mum makes the most amazing stuffing so thats one job off the list.
We've got Dd and did staying on Christmas eve :j0 -

Yes I do them for about 5 minutes Di then roast in a little bit of honey and seasoning before freezing. I didn’t want to leave them until the big day as I thought they might go soft.
I’m preparing more ahead this year than ever which leaves you with more time for a lazy champagne breakfast:DTo do is to be. Rousseau
