Is the fact that we were never told that we had to borrow the full cost of the ppi and pay interest on it mean we were mis-sold the ppi?
If you had single premium PPI which combined the loan and PPI repayments together, it's a very valid complaint, Unfortunately, You are still stuck at proving that you actually had PPI and how much you paid.
  • The agreement that I have clearly shows the loan & interest and the ppi & interest.
I can also provide bank statements with the monthly payments.
    Is that sufficient evidence?

Yes. The more comprehensive your statements (and the period they cover), the more your refund will be. Send the Bank copies of every relevant statement you have.
  • Can someone tell me please, when you go through resolver. is everything done through them?

ie if there is any documents do they send them through resolver or do they post to your address.
Same with the final decision is it posted to you or again done through resolver?

I recommend you direct any queries about Resolver directly to the company concerned, or read the terms and conditions on their website.

It depends on the organisation you are dealing with but I find it had to believe that any bank would deviate from it's normal process in order to communicate on a third party system. Your complaint might be acknowledged on there but anything else will be by phone, email or post.
