LEJC I was thinking the same as you (paranoid me) but TBH anyone trying to follow the thread will need to really stick with it It moves at a fair pace and a lot of the chat is strange unless you "know" the poster

    Hope we are wrong

Enjoy the day I felt lost without you all :(

I love the post 20 and everything that been done to keep it going recently ....but I wonder with hindsight if we made it all a little too "available" across the web and its become far too popular.

I absolutely agree that its hard work ploughing through all the tat we talk about on here...again even though to us its necessary...but we kind of put the post 20 in a very revealing place for the world to read.

We read here...but it's also amazing how far some of the things that are first reported here then turn up in vaious disguises on places like FB and other internet forums....there are probably far more lurkers than we would ever know about.

There is clearly a huge markup on the stuff at A in the 342,you only have to look at the T prices to see that...and they are still making a huge profit...however just how far can you extend that when 6 weeks before christmas the internet reveals how to get cheap giftsets.

some could say its a fabulous marketing ploy...I bet there are loaads of failed shops where people have not managed the APG promised ...and indeed those who buy their regular shopping there too on the back of the glitch ....
I just wonder if for now someone is unhappy.....I hope its a case that someone in MSE towers wanted to delete a single post and got rid of everything by mistake ....

Hopefully someone from the towers will let either DD or redfox know why....

Anyone know what has happened? Been over an hour, links don't work.

I know - the whole thread has disappeared including, apparently, all posts I've ever made in my history. Perhaps the first post of the thread got deleted and the whole lot got wiped, including my entire M list. Fortunately I have a hard copy of that but no electronic version so it will take ages to put the whole lot back if it's gone unless there is some way of scanning it. I have the SP list of what should work best vs M as part of that, but none of the 'not best but don't lose' or the 'lose out - avoid' against M. I don't have a copy of the SP list at all vs S, T or W, so, if they are permanently gone, then they are gone.

    Anyway. Vs M today:
    1x ASDA Smart Price Toilet Roll (6pk) £1.00 N/A:j
As it should be, in my view. Not comparing against double size at £2 at the moment - let's hope it has now gone N/A for good. Even after the lack of £1 vs £2, A were still a few pence cheaper:(. However it offers a voucher which is okay, which it wouldn't have been had the Toilet Rolls got a price of £2.

Let's hope we get what was the 'live' Elite thread back and that it's just the link that is faulty.

    Vs T
    1x ASDA Butcher's Selection Chicken Breast Fillets (1kg) £5.79 £5.78

I would delete it from the M list (M £5.94:eek:) but I don't have that here, so... there we are... crossed out on the hard copy. So, that's one less item (out of hundreds) now. Does anyone have a copy of my list?:rotfl:
