Has anyone on here been to Slovenia? Me and OH are considering going there in september 2008.
If so, is it cheap out there?

I went to Slovenia last year. It is a beautiful unspoilt country. We stayed on Lake Bled which was just stunning. Ljubliana is a lovely compact city. It is cheap, 2 course meal is about £7 to £10, although they have now introduced the euro, so prices may have risen.
Dont forget to experience the spas - they are wonderful.
Cant comment on flights as we drove.
