Windows mail no longer works

I had to reinstall Windows 10 and then I installed Windows Mail from my saved installer.
However it does not work properly.
Windows mail now gives me an error when starting
and I am not able to open a new email message
Failed to initialize Shared Canvas: System.IOFileNotFoundException:
Could not load file or assembly.................etc.
I have Googled but not found a solution.
Has anyone solved this error or managed to install windows mail successfully after Microsoft deserted it?

I have heard that only a complete uninstall of Windows Live and reinstall will fill this.0

Considering it was a complete reinstall of Windows 10 on a new hard disk then an install of Windows Live Mail I doubt it would fix it.over 73 but not over the hill.0 -
Try this I wrote a while back, Live Essentials has issues installing on Windows 10 sometimes:

To be honest it will be a lot easier now and in the long run to use an email client that is actually supported on Windows 10 and one that wasn't abandoned several years ago. There are several free options out there and you can easily import your saved emails into them.I had to reinstall Windows 10 and then I installed Windows Mail from my saved installer.
However it does not work properly.
