How manage sale proceeds whilst renting?

Provided when you open the account you apply for everything you need to operate the account (common sense really) there's no problem. They are if you want your money quick. I only found out from the savings forum that you need to order a special card and reader to make withdrawals. And it might take two weeks for them to arrive.

Putting the money in a number of different easy access accounts was all we did, but that was in the days when it was possible to make £20k pa on the interest while house prices were falling.
When we rented, we'd never been so well-off, but it wasn't a situation that could possibly last long.
Selling to rent may put you in a very strong position when a property comes up for which there is keen demand. It also means that you have time to explore an area if it's new to you and learn the nuances of location within it.
We would not be in the property we we own now without selling to rent. Our vendor needed a quick sale to a cash buyer and discounted appropriately in order to do that.0 -

Yes, if that's made clear when you open the account.
Both my partner and myself opened accounts with UB, but didn't know anything about the card and reader until I read about it on the savings and investments forum.0
