CEL PCN NOVOTEL Car Park Milton Keynes

Hi All, Could do with some help please.

Received a PCN through the post from CEL yesterday 04/11/17.
Incident date 06/10/17 PCN issue date 02/11/17

Amount due within 28 days £100 Reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.

CEL have included two photos on the PCN, One showing vehicle entering car park and one showing vehicle leaving. 24 mins between photos.

The Vehicle is a Private Hire Taxi, and Licenced by Milton Keynes Council, and was Booked to Drop off a customer at Novotel hotel.
The Driver entered car park and did not notice any Parking Charge signs. Driver dropped off customer at the entrance, which took a few minutes after taking payment and a chat.
Driver then moved to bottom of the car park to clear hotel entrance. (FREE TO PARK FOR PATRONS)
There was no clear signs in the car park where the driver was sitting in the vehicle to say there would be parking charges (photos to prove) Driver left car park 24 mins later.
I intend to write to Hotel Manager, as I have recommended this Hotel to lots Customers. (NOT ANYMORE) Might make a visit to Trip Advisor.

Need some help starting CEL appeal please!

No need for help at this stage. A generic template appeal for a BPA member like CEL is in the NEWBIES thread, and the main important thing is NOT NOT NOT to add anything saying who parked!

The template appeal either gets CEL to cancel, or they issue a POPLA code, then the keeper of the car wins at POPLA.

I have emailed CEL a copy of the BPA members template mark in blue. on your first thread of newbies PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW?

How long before they usually get back with a response?

In the meantime why not call in at the hotel and get them to cancel, how can you bring their paying customers when you are scammed by their stupid parking rule?

Went in today, And was told There is nothing they can do. Must speak to manager.

I have emailed the manager, so may get a response in the week sometime. Plan to pop in the week if I am working in the area.

Won't be recommending them for business anymore.

Update

I went to see Hotel Manager today 15:30, and asked if he'd had a chance to read my email about CEL parking charge.
He said he had and as already sent email to CEL asking them to cancel PCN.
Checked emails at 16:30 and have a reply from Hotel manager, saying PCN as been cancelled
While speaking with the Manager, He said he has had a lot of trouble CEL sending out PCN's hotel customers and was trying to get out of the contract, but with no joy.

Just like to say Thanks and for everyone to Keep fighting these illegal parking charges.
