StubHub Seat Allocation

Hi,
I recently purchased tickets from Stubhub, foolishly paying for which row I’d be sat in as specific seat allocations were not available.
However on receipt of my tickets, I am extremely disappointed in the seat allocation being seated at the far end of the row away from the stage and (I know this is my own fault) paying ‘over the odds’ for the tickets. Had I been aware of this I would have never purchased the tickets.
Having looked into it, the Consumer Law Act 2015 states that I should have been aware of the seat allocation prior to purchase and therefore the tickets may have been sold to me unlawfully.
Has anyone else had this issue with Stubhub or knows any more on the law regarding this which may help me get my money back?
I know I was stupid for purchasing the tickets in this manner and will not be doing it again!

I'm assuming you are referring to the following link?
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/part/3/chapter/5/enacted
If so, I'm firstly not entirely sure whether this refers to BEFORE or AFTER the purchase is made... It sort of suggests, to me, that these details need only be provided AFTER the purchase has been made (for example, by referring to "the person who buys the ticket (the buyer)" ...
Also, common sense-wise you were offered, and purchased, tickets for Row X. This is what you received, so contract fulfilled. It just so happens that you got some rubbish ones instead (if you have to rely on Stubhub instead of buying tickets directly at face value then you've gotta realise you won't necessarily have the best seats in the venue).0
