Who to refit shower cubicle to fix leak?

My corner shower cubicle leaks around the seals and the door hinge. I've tried to fix it myself but have made it worse!:o From what I've read online the sealant wasn't applied correctly when it was installed (years before I bought the house). Do I need a plumber? What might I expect to pay?

Been there done that!
I think all you need is a transparent silicone like - http://amzn.to/2Al3DrU and silicone gun like - http://amzn.to/2j3HauX
And a silicone applicator kit like http://amzn.to/2AkzkBg
The only reason I think you couldn't fix is because you didn't have an applicator. Once you have that it's quite straight forward. Check out this video tutorial - https://youtu.be/cv02mEc4mYA from James @ plumber parts.
You can of course call a plumber or a skilled handyman. It hardly takes 30 mins or so and the cost depends on your area but I bet the call out charges will more than what you pay for the work.0 -
My previous response assumes the hard fixtures like the screws into the wall are intact and the shower enclosure and the shower tray are still in good shape. If they need changing, I guess it would take 1 day for minor repair and 2 days to remove the existing enclosure and install a new one.

Use sealant remover first to get back to a nice clean joint:-
