If they were that high demand they would have sold at full price. It they wanted to clear the shelves this quick to implement new stock then this is the way to do it and is entierly up to them!0 -

Are they supposed to miss out on a bargain just because they work for the company. (mind you I hope they didny get a massive staff discount on top) I was disappointed to miss the safes but was extremely impressed at getting a call from a very helpful chap at Pontypridd to tell me had found one for me. I have a felling that he will now himself join the growing ranks of MSE'ers.
I'm not staff , I just got off my **** and went to B&Q the day after reading the OP because I knew if I waited a few days I'd struggle to find any alarms in stock.
You only have to look at the viewing stats for this thread to work that out ~ 6500 viewers ( only 26 have thanked the OP though ) and many of them will share the info with others.0 -

I am sure most of the people complaining on here about not getting any are doing so because they want to sell them on aswell. Just sour grapes I think!0 -

Defo worth havin a scrum round the alarm and CCtv section.
The alarm on its own was on the shef, marked down for 7.95. At the till it was 5.89!!!
Hell it's prob worth that, even if it don't work, simply for the fact that you get a big yellow box, with the word Yale on it...It's got to be a deterrent..
No safe's in my kit, but 5.89!!! I mean come on.. lol
Few bargains left, try now, sunday. I got mine at about 7.51 pm..0
