They mean they are re viewing it under Plevin, which refers to high commissions.
Yes, some people have been successful. To be fair, it would be a fairly ineffectual ruling if they hadn't.0 -
Thank you just was really confused when I got the letter as didn't really understand it.0

It sounds like they are inviting you to complaint about the level of commission on your policy. You should absolutely ring them up to talk about it. It will be really easy to complaint as anybody who paid over 50% commission and had their policy still open within the past 10-12 years will be eligible for a partial refund.0

I contacted HSBC about my PPI, received an email confirmation immediately then received a letter asking me to complete a form. Completed the form and returned it then received another letter within 5 days saying they were looking in to it and would contact me within 4 weeks. Got a phone call asking me to confirm a couple of things regarding my PPI and they said they were making a decision that day and would let me know within 10 days their decision. To my total shock I received a letter within the next week saying they had upheld my PPI claim and would be paying me £30,529.64. Happy days. It is definitely worth contacting any bank about PPI. If your not sure if you have had it go to the individual banks website and complete their ‘have I had PPI’ forms, they then let you know if you have. I’m working on others now 😀😀0
