Hi,
I recently wrote to Canada Square Operations regarding Egg card protection.. Today I receieved a letter stating 'cardholder repayment protection was applied to your account however no premiums were actually charged during the period you had this policy. As a result, no redress is due to you in this instance'.
Can anyone advise me if I can/should do anything more here?

What more would you want to do? You didn't pay any premiums.0

No idea....that's why I asked. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being brushed away.0 -
Think of it as a positive steve, no PPI payments means you always paid your card off and hence you paid no interest.0

But I know that is definitely not the case.0 -
It must be.
If you paid the credit card in ull every month, there would have been no PPI charges, and also no inerest charges.
PPi is only charged on an outstanding balance.
If this is not the case, you send a SAR and see what info there is.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Ok I'll send a SAR. It definitely - 100% - wasn't the case. Thanks for the advice.0
