HSBC NEW BUSINESS IBAN's NOT RECOGNISED BY SOME EU SENDERS

HSBC has recently issues NEW IBAN's to Business Customers effective from 21Oct 2017.
This means that the SENDER must be informed the of the new HSBC Business IBAN.
It appears than when the NEW IBAN is entered by the sender, in some cases, the NEW IBAN will not be recognised. !
This happened to me with payments from SANTANDER Germany. Apparently it may affect other EU Banks using the new HSBC BUSINESS IBAN.
If your sender informs you that the new IBAN is NOT recognised, HSBC have informed me to keep using the OLD IBAN and the money will arrive into the correct account.
It was mentioned that things should be working correctly by around 14 November.

No where have I seen this problem highlighted for HSBC Business Customers, which I find very wrong !!
