Improving kitchen ventilation

Hi
I am purchasing a house which has a kitchen that has been enclosed from external. The previous exterior wall is now part of a conservatory and the other sides lead to the garage and main hall.

In the survey it was pointed out an increase in damp (possibly from condensation) in the kitchen.
There is an extractor fan above the cooker and window that opens to the conservatory, and door (fire rated) to the garage.

Any suggestions how ventilation could be improved to the kitchen to minimize future dampness?

thanks

Presumably, the extractor over the cooker is a "cooker hood" type - Does this vent to the outside ?

If so, increasing the size of the ductwork may help a little. Or if the hood is just recirculating, then venting to the outside would be a major improvement.

Extractor opening into the conservatory is perhaps not ideal especially in winters when you keep your conservatory windows mostly closed. Perhaps you can vent it out using a through the window extractor in your conservatory like http://amzn.to/2iZwZHR if you see condensation build up.

On the other hand you can use a free-standing dehumidifier like http://amzn.to/2ziNxka in your kitchen. There are other cheaper models but this one comes with a sensor so its worth it.

just to clarify the cooker hood vent outlet is to the garage (not ideal - my plan is to extend it to outer gable wall).
Window in kitchen opens to conservatory.

is it worth putting in a 100mm vent from the kitchen (maybe behind the sink and dishwasher) to the conservatory?
