Lloyds and unhepful letter

Hi all

I would be very grateful for some advice please.

I recently completed an online PPI check form on Lloyds website to see if I had previously had an PPI with them.

The letters I received back were very confusing because they just listed about 10 different credit card and loan account numbers (partially obscured numbers on some) and said if I want to complain then fill a form in for each one separately.

However, I have no paperwork for any of these accounts any more and Noddle only shows a couple of them.

The complaint forms are long and I have virtually no info to put in them other than the partial account numbers they've given me.

What should I do next please?

Complete the forms with the information you know. That is what your complaint is based upon.

I'm not sure what else you're looking for?

I don't know any dates etc or whether the account numbers they've given me have PPI attached.

  • So, what is your complaint?

You don't need to know dates. What you need are compelling reasons for complaint. Do you have these? PPI is not refunded simply because you had it, you need to show it was mis-sold.

Use single premium as a complaint for the loams, the credit cards, you need to find another reason.

Just say you don't know the dates or have any info. That is quite normal.
