Free Airport Lounge Passes at Gatwick

What schemes can you join to obtain free Airport Lounge passes at Gatwick. I believe Barclays bank has an account that gives you this benefit. Are there any others.:T

Barclays will cost more per month than individual passes?

    Not free but... https://www.gatwickairport.com/mygatwick/portal/upcoming-flights/

If you sign up and tell them your flight they give some rewards.

I had 25% off No1 Lounges which I have used to pre-book Clubrooms (their top tier) with free premium security for £30pp next June.

    Gatwick North or South?

Cheapest I know of is My Lounge (I've not used), with premium security entrance, (Gatwick North) for £12 (https://no1lounges.com/VirginAtlanticFlyingClub) and get Virgin Flying club miles.

For south, you can get No1 Lounge for ~ £25pp via Avios, Virgin, Norwegian etc.

I've used both the regular No1 Lounge at both North & South and they're ok. You get free premium security, one plate of food each, unlimited drinks (singles, beer, wine, soft drinks etc.) and unlimited bar snacks & cakes.

American Express Preferred Gold Chargecard, free for the first year. As per the post above, gives 2 free lounge passes per year. If you take one out and then your other half (if you have one) is referred by you, you can double the Avios and lounge passes. Just make sure you close the card before the fee is due (although it is a pro rata refund). As soon as the card goes, the lounge pass goes.

NatWest reward accounts give a free priority pass for lounge access.

Be aware that the passes that come from the banks don't allow you to pre-book entrance to a particular lounge. At a busy time you may find that they will only admit those that have pre-booked.
