Balance Transfer from Different Rates.

I have a few cards which I bounce balances around, slowly working them down.
It has got a bit messy with different amounts at different transfer rates on the same cards.
The main two are MBNA and Barclaycard.
Am I right in thinking that if I transfer from one of the messy cards that the highest interest rate balance will be moved first, as I know payments are taken from the highest rate balance. (hope that makes sense)
Thanks.
