How to stop plastic moving on wood?

Hello all
Bit of a strange one, I have a plastic container which I have placed onto a wooden table. I wont go into why etc, too long to explain and not really relevant. However, I need to ensure the plastic box doesnt move around on the wooden table, how could I accomplish this? I was thinking of maybe some self adhesive rubber or even just rubber and buy some double sided tape and tape onto the bottom of the plastic box and then put the rubber on the bottom of the plastic box?
Any ideas would be helpful?
thanks

Try something like the anti slip tape that they use for rugs.
Sticky on one side, anti slip on the other. The more I live, the more I learn.

How little I know.!!

Get 10 large nails and nail the plastic box to the table - rest assured it won't be going anywhere ;-)
Alternatively the self-adhesive rubber discs and pads are worth a look.0 -
How about something like this : http://www.poundland.co.uk/non-slip-mat-3
If you Google for "non-slip mat" you'll find any number of versions available for very little money.0 -
