Jake's Mum,yes,Sue did a great job speaking to every new SPCer individually.I think that sort of welcome must give an impression of "thread friendliness".The thread is missing you,Sue.
I potted £12 in £2 coins that had been milling around in my purse for a few weeks..I think 2018 will be a record for £2 coins (for those who don't know,I aim to pot every £2 coin that crosses my path-I think last year I only had to spend two of them before I could get them to the pot).
Mine go straight into the pot so I cant spend them, its amazing how they add up.

My potting news:
I decided to bank my £2 coins in my pot to save them lying about the house when I go on holidays in the summer - total to be banked is £940!!
Also counted up the 5ps that I keep in an old humbug jar which comes to the lovely amount of £15!
Now need to update my signature.A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
SPC No 043

Whoa!! Seems like weeks (and probably is) since I was last here. Meant to update on my weekly purse clear-out last week and forgot so that was 3 x £2s and £6.50 in £1s and 50ps.
This week's is 1 x £2 and £8 in £1s and 50ps.
I also need to check in with my eB*y and Quidco totals which are mounting up and add them in.
Since my trip to London to see Hamilton nothing much has been happening here. Had a lovely week in the sun and last week was very productive in the garden, although this year my priority needs to be the house as I've literally painted 2 walls, a chimney breast and the stairs ceiling (badly, to cover fresh plaster), since we moved here 6.5 years ago. I've booked Spring Bank off from work to get it done, although over the actual bank holiday weekend I'll be in London again with my mum visiting the Chelsea Flower Show. We get the Tuesdays off as well, and I've booked the other 3 days off to get my painting done downstairs at least. Should be fun now we have the dog!
We're also off down south next weekend to see friends and family, and then hubby is going to drop me off at the tube and I'm heading into London to meet a fellow Cumberbatch fan and friend from Germany while he drives home with the dog. We're going to do the "Up at the O2" thing where you walk over the roof of the O2. I've been mildly obsessed with the idea since discovering you could do it last year when we visited the Star Wars exhibition, so she's booked it for us. Other than that I don't know what else we're going to do. We did Tower Bridge and the Monument last year. She's mentioned going on the Emirates cable car but I'm not sure - my head for heights (especially on a moving object) isn't what it used to be!
We're having a restructure at work although our manager thinks that our team is going to be OK. It's stressful for everyone else. Hopefully there won't be any financial implications but no one really knows anything at the moment. Details were meant to be released to everyone except us and the other two teams like us, just after Easter but it was pushed back because people were on leave and then after the Unions objected, it was pushed back at the eleventh hour 10 days ago, to be released next week. And then our team still has to wait longer! Oh well, they say no news is good news....SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

I had £6.76 for the pot when I emptied my purse on Sunday.Unfortunately for the pot I have been grocery shopping online or by card lately,so little change
But I did reach £20 in my £2 coin challenge, which goes to the credit union this afternoon. Total of £152,which I class as a subset of this SPC. Somewhere near £150 in the SP,so I am well satisfied with my savings overall.Shouldnt be any worries over Xmas this year!:T:T:T0 -

Hello once again all SEALED POTTERS!!! :hello: Thank you ALL for your lovely kind wishes, they truly were a tonic. :happyhear
It's so very good to be back with you all again I'm feeling somewhat better, though Ive certainly been with been through it lately! The back of my head is still really painful and I've also had that part of it inflamed twice and was on steroids for a fortnight. The inflammation is fine now but the actual lump just doesn't get any better.I've lost all the hair from it and have still got the numbness in part of the lump and extreme pain in the other parts, the Dr says it's quite normal but it'll come back in time. I certainly hope so. The back/hips is much better now and I don't feel anything from it at all so very grateful for that!
I've had huge problems with my teeth and have needed 3 root canals!!!! Talk about excruciating pain - it was that alright, especially with a newly trained dentist - sadist!!! I've had infection with two of them but the third thankfully seems alright! Ironically, I have another ruddy checkup next month!!!! :eek:I just hope to goodness he doesn't find anything else wrong!
Anyway I'm back with you now and hopefully will stay that way for as long as is possible.
Siju - I'm so sorry to hear about your dear Mum, but realise she's obviously in the best place.
DancingUnicorn - don't worry too much about meeting your Target, it's only a guide to hopefully meet, but if you can't then please don't worry. However, struggle on and do your best.
Thanks so much for putting the message on, 32b3, you're a gem as always. I couldn't write back to you as, to be honest, I just didn't feel at all like it. Thanks a lot for being here for everyone, Lynne too, bless you.
Great to see you popping in Buffy!!
I'm so very sorry to hear of the death of your dear Dad, TheCatsandDogsMother. What a trip too, but how kind of you to fund your Brother's as well.
Good seeing you jakes-mum, amidst all your dilemmas and news of your determined £2ers being scuttled away!! Thanks so much for your lovely words, you're another gem (though a bit of a devil too at times)!
There's been some amazing savings going on here SPCers so congratulate yourselves well and keep it up!! :T:T:T
Ive no idea how much I've saved but both Hubby & I have been potting but just not really taking too much notice; things are going to change now!!!!Sue xx
