keep it!!!! why send it back?0

Let the company know you want them collected, most of the time they don't bother to arrange collection, you have clear conscience and a new pair of shoes.0

The problem with this is you may feel you have got away with these ‘free shoes’ but somewhere in the near future an investigation may take place to find these shoes from the relailer. When the trace it back to your home it will be embarrassing for you.0

This is not a moral dilemma it is a legal one.
Simply theft is defined in law as (from memory) "Dishonesty appropriating property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other."
If you accept the package from the post, KNOWING that you have already obtained a refund, with the intent to keep the property, this is dishonest and therefore theft.
I think we need more information to say whether this is the case, specifically when the package was dispatched. If it had already been sent when the refund was agreed then yes, I agree, but if it was sent after the refund was agreed - especially if it the gap was a time in which the dispatch could reasonably have been halted - then it might become unsolicited goods, and the receiver would be entitled to keep them.0 -
Why on earth do you need two pairs of the same shoes?
Email them to tell them they can be collected and just see what they say.0 -
I’d drop the company an email letting them know the situation and go from there. Stealing is wrong and the additional costs due to dishonest behaviour will eventually end up being passed on to the whole customer base by way of increased prices or higher interest etc0

This is fairly simple and I'm surprised it has been allowed.
These were not unsolicited, this is an error on the vendor's part.
The shoes must remain in the box unused and available to collect. You cannot keep them or use them, to do so is theft!0 -
How is this a problem? They are not your shoes, presumably the company has a free return policy, so don’t be a thief, and send them back.0
-
I wonder why you even ask the question, it's stealing so you should at least contact the Company and let them know.0
