PaddyPower.com withholding Money

Hey guys,
Its no big thing, but if I can recover monies, its always a bonus.....
Had an account with PaddyPower.com , used only for Horse racing bets (low value and not very often bets).
Had this account for many months...
Payment method was linked to my bank account, so easy deposit, and easy withdrawal......
Then came the "your account is frozen for security checks"..
IE: They want Scanned image of Passport, driving license, util bill, bank card..... All the data you need to help someone do identity fraud, as well as fake passports.
So on the 26th Oct, I used the online chat, said I want the account closed as I'm not willing to send that info, and for the remaining balance of £42.00 to be returned to my bank account.
I'm told monies on route, and account closed (and had email confirming closure).
Roll on 31st Oct, still haven't received monies, so I do the online chat...
I'm told the £42.00 has been returned to my 'Skrill / MoneyBookers' account....
Up until now, I didn't know what Skrill/MoneyBookers was... and even now, trying to figure out if its similar to Paypal....
So on that note, I don't have a Skrill account, nor ever created one....
PaddyPower.com are claiming that they have sent my money to this account, but if I never created an account with Skrill and don't have one, it means I am left in limbo....
Have tried speaking to PP on the phone, but you can tell I am getting nowhere, with re-directed questions....
Anyone else been in this situation where you cant get hold of your money ?

So what method did you use to add the funds to your account?
Two possible routes immediately obvious would (if the answer to the above is credit/debit card) be:
1) Provide them a screenshot of your bank account showing that the payments you made were made via debit/credit card and made direct to them rather than via skrill/moneybookers.
2) Contact your card company with proof you were promised a refund and ask if a chargeback for credit/refund not received is possible (it is one of the chargeback reason codes but I'm not sure if the skrill issue might cause complications). You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
cheers for the reply!
Couldn't do option 2, as the value to withdraw is from a 'Win' value.
And yes, I could provide screenshots of bank transactions, as it was only debit card ever used.
I will follow the complaints process as indicated by the UK Gambling Comission first anyway.....
It was more a thing on, as a Consumer, how do you get your monies back from a business that says "there looking into it, allow 2 days to get back to you", which means go away, were doing nothing!0
