Evesham Alqemi LCD TVs - CHEAP!

Stumbled across the Evesham site while I was trawling around for an LCD telly last night.
Was on the look out for a decent deal on a 32" - Richer Sounds are still doing a Hitachi for £350, you can get the high spec Hannspree for that sort of money delivered (but no DVB tuner), and some of the LG models can be got for £400. I've also been watching a few on Ebay but they all end up going for stupid money.
Evesham currently have deals on all their Alqemi models - I ended up going for this one;

Very similar spec panel to the Hitachi and the Hannspree (E02 version), with great connectivity. I'm keen to try it with the Tevion HDMI DVD player I bought last month, but the second HDMI socket will come in handy if I ever get a PS3 or a Freeview-HD box.
It comes supplied with a wall bracket as well as the table stand shown - I can't find any details on the wall bracket - I imagine it's pretty basic and won't tilt. I like the look of this set - I wanted one with speakers on the side - makes it look 'widescreen' as opposed to 4:3. Warranty is only one year but it's swap-out - they bring a new telly to your house - nice! I think when they were selling these sets at much higher prices it was a three year swap-out warranty - can't find any mention of that now.
I took the free delivery option so I don't know when it's coming - there seem to be plenty in stock so I imagine it will turn up some time next week - I'll let you know how I get on.

Well they are in recievership and being funded by Tahir Mohsan who is the co-founder of TimeUK and the owner of Time Group - so not a particular strong recommendation to buy considering the reputation of those companies.0

They are now part of the resurected Time group ( who went under selling dodgy LCD tvs) so beware!!
Whoops cross posted same warning as grahawk.ac's lovechild0 -

ARGH! I knew it would be something like that!
I bought my first PC from Evesham in the early 90s (486sx20 with a massive 105MB drive!) and I thought they had a good reputation for decent quality kit.
I suppose if it turns up next week and works it'll still be a good deal - if Evesham do go belly-up will the warranty count for anything do you know?

Ebuyer were selling the 28inch version a while back (offer now finished) for £240 and i have to say its a REALLY great telly. The picture quality is excellent, the unit itself is very smart in both matt and piano black 2 x hdmi freeview n all.Just the business!! Lütz Pangaloo you'll be glad you picked this telly. ( - just to balance the neg comments about Evesham)0

Cheers for that - I've got everything crossed it'll be ok!
Did yours come with a free wall bracket, and is it any good? I can't find any details about the bracket anywhere.

Careful! I know several people who used to work for Evesham computers: do not buy from them, especially things that are not directly IT like TVs.
To top it all off the company went bust and made everyone redundant without notice and without payment overnight."Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye
It's only teenage wasteland"

Et j'ai le droit de dire ce que je veux, surtout si c'est vrai. Avant d'essayer de me clouer le bec dans ma langue maternelle, apprend a le faire comme il faut."Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

Calmez-vous cher! Je suis désolé, c'était une blague.
J'apprécie vos conseils.
