Tado smart thermostat?

I just saw a add on facebook, sign up with Green Star Energy and get a free Tado thermostat.
I googled it, £200
My thermostat is not as good as my old one, only does a one hour boost. A smart phone controlled thermostat sounds good, free. Too good to be true?
It might be good for someone, I am in a energy contract for another 18 months.

Tado is a good system, but check their website as they often do deals.
But to be honest any smart thermostat will be a huge improvement
We have used nest for the last 3 years and love it.
Hive is also a good system.
Just make sure that FREE really is free, no point if you get screwed on the tariffScrimping the nuts out of life since 2006!:cool:0 -

You have to sign up for a 3 year fixed tariff, never looked at the figures but it may not be the cheapest on the market so you would possibly be paying more for the thermostat over the 3 years.0
