Transferring from partners card

My partner has a credit card balance of just under £2000 which has some 0% deals coming off between April and June next year. Once the time comes, if I were to open a new credit card - is it possible to transfer her balance onto my new card in the same way I would if it were my own?

a couple of providers won't let you - maybe Tesco? As long as you do the transfer online it just asks for the long card no - if you do it on the phone they will usually ask if it is in your nameI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
