Thermal insulation (to protect pocket door)

I've just had a large pocket door fitted, the door kit came from Portman Pocket Doors and part of the kit includes a corrugated metal sheet that sits either side of the door inside the wall:

We're having a radiator hung on the wall directly in front of the internal pocket door kit (really is the only place for it) and the company has advised we add a layer of thermal insulation between the radiator and pocket door kit to stop heat warping the metal sheet.
They won't however tell me what sort of product i need to get as i guess they don't want to be responsible for any issues with another companies product.
Do you think a large sheet of general purpose ThermaWrap insulation like this would do the trick? I'm thinking the builders could install it between the plaster board and pocket door kit before plastering and mounting the radiator.
Any advice would be great.
