Spending ap for Android Smartphone?

A friend of mine has an ap on his IPhone where he can input what he spends each time, so for example, shopping, drinks, etc etc.
I'm trying to get a handle on where all my money goes so this would be ideal for me, but I can't find it in the store for Android. Just wondered if anyone can recommend something similar? Obviously FREE if possible!

Try https://www.moneymanagerex.org, versions for windows and android. I've only played with it so far (still using Quicken 2000) but plan to jump ship soon.0
