Hi guys, sorry if this has been posted, I have read through a lot of threads and I'm still confused as what to do - please excuse, I'm a foreigner! :embarasse
Basically, Parking Eye sent a PCN from Crown Wharf Shopping park that was paid for, and we have a ticket to prove.
After finding a parking space my husband noticed that it's a pay and display car park. With our son in the car he tried to pay online via mobile phone but the app wasn't working. We only had old £1 coins, which I eventually managed to change, and pay for 1 hour of parking. We left 5 min before the time on the ticker run out.
Now, the reason the PCN was sent is either because I mistakenly put ''0'' instead of ''O'' when keying in the reg plate and the system didn't recognise that we paid, or because it took 15min for us to pay from the time we entered the car park (taking to account finding parking space, trying their app that didn't work and changing old £1 to new, and paying)
I don't know which they decided to use, doh.
Could someone please advice what would the best step be in this case? Contacting Parking Eye? I tried to get a current manager of Crown Wharf details but all they gave me is PE contact details, and the ones on here don't work anymore. I can't really go to the retailers on site as I don't live locally. Please help!
Btw, we do have the parking ticket for proof and some receipts from shopping there.
Thank you so much!

please READ the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread at the top of this forum , especially post #1 for now
use the blue text appeal on their website , choosing KEEPER
then use post #3 to draft a popla appeal for when they refuse the appeal and issue a popla code
this will be uploaded to popla as a pfd choosing OTHER when its completed0 -
Thanks! How long does it take to hear from Parking Eye?0

A month or so. Maybe sooner if they cancel.
Make sure you upload your receipts and the ticket (scanned copies) when submitting the appeal, and add a few words stating that:
- the receipts prove the occupants of the car were genuine patrons,
- and also the few minutes observation time on arrival were caused by trying their app that didn't work and changing old £1 to new pound coins, in order to pay by cash instead,
- and here's the ticket as proof of that payment, and you would also mention that the car left before the ticket ran out, so there was no overstay.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
