BTW - well spotted on the whole "OP isn't an employee anyway" because if that is correct (and from previous posts it seems you are) then they really don't have a leg to stand on as their relationship is ruled purely by contractual detail, and there's no tribunal. And if they threaten court - no job.0 -

I dunno, might be quite fun on here..
Think I'll go with Sangie's interpretation of affairs, as I've always found her* contributions very helpful.
*think I'm right, apologies if not..0 -

Kettle, pot, black? You have repeatedly been offensive and downright nasty to people trying to help you. Not just here either. So if you find that people react badly to that, tough. You don't own the site and there was some very genuine advice in there - stop acting the way you do, and all sorts of people, including your manager, might get to like you. You treat people at work like toy treat people here - and like you have said you treat them at work - you can't be surprised when it comes back in spades.
And I'm not here to be "nice" - I tell people the truth, and if they don't like the truth, that's tough. You'll find more than a few who value being told the truth instead of misplaced tea and sympathy, or downright wrong advice!
Sangie - I honestly dont give a monkeys what you think to be honest. You have proved time and time again that the only reason you are on this forum is because you appear to like criticising people.0 -
I'm so sorry about that - can I say something insulting that will help you get over it?

I'll send you a medal in the post if you like :T:T:T
My employment status at some time in the past has no relevance to this or what my status may be at the moment. I can't even be arsed to check when this post you've searched is from but you do know people change their situation don't you? Go from contract to perm, changed jobs etc?0 -

It was actually gettingtheresometime who bought up the contractor issue.
As pointed out by sangie595 it is quite relevant to the situation so maybe enlighten us so the correct advice can be given (although I think both angles have been pretty well covered in the previous replies).0 -
If it is anything like our expenses system, there should be an audit trail button on the system and you should be able to see the full history0

Did you definately submit? Ours email us automatically to say 'your claim has been sent to the manager' - if they then reject it (which would take it back to unsubmitted) you'd have the proof that you did submit it within the time limit
I've missed out on some because I didn't submit in time (for mileage) - my fault as I know it was 3 months but didn't do it in time, I was off sick then when I came back lost track of when I last did it - I've submitted that mileage to show the official usage for lease car claim (ie they approve that I've done them so they count towards getting a discounted car but I don't get the fuel covered - yes it sucks, but it's my own fault)
Had I submitted it in time but they didn't do their part which took it over the 3 months I'd argue it0
