Selling only property but never lived in it

It might take a year to sell it. All the while you'll be paying rent to someone else and create a tax problem when you sell yours. I'd move in and then put it on the market.0

If you have no other income then as a "property developer" run it through your own tax code, assuming you have no other income.
Though I tend to agree, just move in and save yourself the grief either way.0 -
Another vote for moving in for a year and then selling it.
