You could ask a solicitor you trust to pay it from their account after you've paid it into them, explaining your circumstances... :)

You could send the 'gift' to me.:)

I promise to forward it to whoever you want.

Obviously, barring a statistically improbable coincidence that the 'gift' recipient knows me, they won't have a clue why there is this mysterious deposit in their account. They will just think 'yippee free money'.

What could possibly go wrong :rotfl::rotfl:

We need a banking expert to confirm, but my understanding is that the interbank transfer transaction carries ALL the sender's details (sort-code, account number, reference field, account name, login name (yes, on my joint account at Santander, it sends which of us actioned the payment), etc, etc).

Whether the name of the sender appears in the statement of the recipient is entirely up to the receiver's bank - some banks will, some won't. So basically, if your recipient's account is at a bank which does display the sender's name, you'll have to find some other way of transferring the funds to remain anonymous.

I had originally considered making the same offer. Then I thought better as I'd rather not risk a CIFAS marker and having my dozens of accounts closed
