Amazon Stealing Money

I was a director of a LTD company that was dissolved in January 2017. Amazon were informed that this company had ceased trading in October 2016.
When the company was dissolved by Companies House in January 2017 there was a balance of 40p owing to Amazon.
Amazon did not dispose of remaining FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) stock and simply kept adding charges. This should have been Amazons problem but what happened next is incredible.
Amazon changed the payment details on the defunct company account to my own personal bank account which they gleaned from my personal Amazon account and also changed the business address to my own personal address. They then started lifting large sums of money from not only my account but from my partners personal and business accounts (the cards were used on my Amazon shopping account) amounting to over £800 in a few days.
Despite repeated phone calls and emails (to India) they fail to understand that the company does not exist and I am not liable for company debts.
They have abused data protection by sharing card details and have taken these payments illegally.
Our respective banks are hopefully going to be able to retrieve these payments.
Can anybody advise how I can get in touch with someone in the UK that can help!

To be totally honest, you aren't a consumer here and so have no "consumer rights". This, therefore, isn't really the best place to post this sort of thing...
I have to say as well but your story is a bit strange.... October 2016 to January 2017 you racked up 40p MAX of debt, but between Jan 2017 and now you racked up £800+ of debt? All on the back of you contacting Amazon in Oct 2016 as well!
I don't understand how the fulfilled by Amazon thing works on the seller's side, but I would assume that charges would be normally distributed between Oct 2016 and now (and not simply 40p between Oct 2016 and Jan 2017)?
Seems a bit strange tbh...0 -
Paying what you owe? Can't expect much sympathy on a forum that usually tries to help consumers that are shafted by sellers running away from their debts.
Try the small business section.0 -
You might find people on the small business section who are familiar with the FBA contract and its terms. It's those terms you should be looking at.0

Can yuo post the FULL terms and conditions you signed up to when you joined amazon FBA.
My guess is that you agreed to a personal Director Guarantee for all fees.0 -
This will be governed by the business to business contract you signed with Amazon....
Amazon did not dispose of remaining FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) stock and simply kept adding charges. This should have been Amazons problem but what happened next is incredible...- We don't know what that says in relation to storing and disposing of goods.
- We don't know if that included any personal guarantees.

Of course not. It's Fulfilment by Amazon. They hold the stock and deliver it on your behalf. It's your stock not theirs. If you ceased trading, it was your responsibility to get the stock back, in order to avoid the warehouse charges.0 -
Looks like a troll post to ms0
