CPM Court Claim Notice

Hi
Just thought it would be best to give you all an update on this as it's been some time. Firstly, let me thank everyone for their time and patience with me. After my last post, I completed the defence and submitted it. I then continued to trawl through the forum for advice.
I then completed the Witness Statement (along with exhibits) which I didn't put on here as I was happy with what I had written as the bulk of it was taken from the various threads. I am happy to send a copy to anyone should they require it.
On the day of the hearing, I accompanied my father to the Court. Having signed in, we waited to be called. Once the time for our hearing had passed, I checked with the usher to see if UKCPM had sent anyone to represent. They hadn't. I felt a stress lift.
We were however still asked to wait, then called in to see the judge. He went through the case stating the facts, asked my father a couple of factual questions, then asked me a couple of questions relating to the lease that we had submitted as evidence. He then decided that based on the lease and the lack of contract, the case would be dismissed.
The whole thing lasted about 20 minutes. All in all, it was still a little nervous as the judge said that even though the Claimant wasn't present, he still had a duty to consider the case, which I must admit, I found a little odd.
Anyway, a letter arrived a few weeks later stating that the case had been dismissed.

Hi
Just thought it would be best to give you all an update on this as it's been some time. Firstly, let me thank everyone for their time and patience with me. After my last post, I completed the defence (and I was happy with it so didn't post it on here for review as the majority of the information was from this forum anyway) and submitted it. I then continued to trawl through the forum for advice.
I was then in the process of compiling Witness Statement (along with exhibits) when I received a letter from the Court to say that CEL were not proceeding with the case. Not sure as to why that was, but I'm putting it down to a strong defence letter.
Thanks to all those that helped and advised on this. I am happy to post a copy of the defence up if it helps as this case was for a company vehicle in a car park.
Thanks again.0
