Does anyone know where I can get a manual for an old boiler??
I need a manual for a gloworm fuelsaver 40-50

What part do you need

Thermocouple as a rough guess. Going to start with that, then if its not that probably going to need more than us to sort it.

You can’t change the thermocouple without accessing the combustion chamber so I doubt you will get any help on here, you need a RGI

I have a relative that is coming over next week who is registered. But we wanted to get the part so that he could just swap it out as he is only over for a day. If we can't get the part in time then I will just have to pay for someone else to sort it.
Only issue we have is that the boiler is so old that I suspect most heating engineers will just want to replace it rather than trying to find the parts.

haha just looking at the date of last manufacture (1984) boiler is at least 30 yrs old!

I've got a boiler at least ten years older than that and a local bloke is more than happy to service it. He's good at finding parts too.

He recommended I keep it for as long as I can.
