Hotel Mediterraneo Benidorm Has anyone been????

Hi all, Im going to the Hotel Mediterraneo in Benidorm in Feb/Mar 08, has anyone been there, whats it like, and any tips to pass on??? Thanks NWJxxxxx

Also try www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk. Plenty of reviews on there for that hotel.Mind you ,you should look at this site before you book.

thanks for the replies, ive looked at these sites before booking previous holidays and the reviews are usually mixed, only to find that when you get there the place is great, you cant please all of the people all of the time, i was just wondering if there is someone who has been to this hotel who wouldnt normally post on a holiday forum

i have been inside this hotel and it is lovely BUT it is quite a walk to the beach and the strip in benidorm which is where all the cheap bars and entertainment are.It is almost opposite benidorm palcae if you know where that is.

thanks ruthy, i have a fair idea where it is as i have stayed at the flamingo oasis 3 years ago and that was near the benidorm palace, my husband loves walking so a stroll down to the beach is ok for us, gives us chance to look in the souvenir shops on the way, as we re going all inclusive, i dont intend to go very far in the evenings as long as the entertainment is ok, taking 2 kids 7 years and 13 years, only booked because we had a great deal, £780 for all of us for 1 weeks AI, just seems too good to be true, thanks NWJxxxx:rolleyes:

2 years ago it was regarded as just about the best hotel and food- cant say anything more recent then that, walk wouldnt be more than 10 mins staight and flat to the levante beach, not far from market or waterpark
