And thanks for this whole forum. Wish I'd known about it earlier. I can't find any 2018 letters about failed Fistral beach phone payments but 2017, the Gladstones failure of a Pay by Phone app on your post #2 seems usable

I can't remember seeing signs, tried to pay at the machine, had no cash and spent a frustrating 15 minutes on the phone while their voice recognition consistently failed. I believed payment had gone through then got the PCN. Have sent a first appeal (before reading this forum) and now have had their response that I still owe them £60

Is the letter above a good template?
