Sony accessories

cheapest i can get it is £30 from ebay, it just seems the sillyest thing in the world how can anyone justify £65 for a charger
on the verge of binning the mp3 player and just using my phone for an mp3 player but seems silly after ive spent £150 on the mp3 player!

Sony make ALOT of money by selling accessories...

You're already paying over the top prices for the brand name, and they know that once a customer is willing to cough up for the Sony brand, they'll spend £££ on accessories too, because they want the "genuine article" and they don't want to jeopodise their guarantee by using alternative accessories...

Yes, it's a rip off, but It's just the way their business works. So long as people are willing to pay over the odds for their brand name, they'll keep on charging LOTS of money!

sorry.

ps - are you sure no one makes a replica one for cheaper?!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
• You've checked the price of a charger on ebay, since you can use your phone for mp3 have you thought about selling your mp3 on ebay?

could turn spending £65 into making £50 or so on something you don't necessarily need to keep.

not on ebay and not through google!
did find that if i paid about £5 more than sonys price for the charger i could get the 8gb version of my mp3 inc with charger!

i did think of that and then use my phone upgrade to get the w960i which has 8gb memory but just not sure how much i'd get for my mp3 player on ebay such a waste of money its only about a year old

• I'd suggest searching ebay for your model of mp3 player and in the search results there is an option on the left hand column called "completed listings". Tick that and you can see the ACTUAL auction results for the last 2 weeks. Lets you know what yours is worth.

After all if your current phone already plays mp3 then why change the phone or keep the mp3 player?
Alternatively an apple Ipod nano 4gb is under £70 now.

problem is i will get less for it then others have gone for it, as it depends what people are willing to spend on the player minus the charger,

my current phone i only have a 1gb memory card its not enough for me i use music ever day for a few hours,
i have an upgrade due anyway its just whether to get the k850i or wait for the w960i

i wouldnt buy an ipod whatever happens, either way rather than buying a 4 or 8gb i can just get the w960i

I think you need to use the cable with a Sony ACU50A.
