Anyone having issues accessing First Direct banking app?

Since Saturday I haven't been able to access the First Direct banking app on my mobile due to an "Announcement" when I open it that states services will be down for 1hr20m on the morning of 29th Oct.
Great! But I want to access it now - not at the specified 'out' time. I am unable to get past this Announcement. Next step will be to physically call them which I'm fine with but would like to know if it is just me with the problem.

I don't use the app on my phone just the mobile website and that message comes up too, but gives a button to click to bypass it. Is there no such button on the app ?0

Yeah I see what you see on the mobile site but no equivalent button on the app. It is very annoying.0

If you scroll down to the bottom of the announcement there is a box you can click to confirm you have read the announcement. It will then disappear and you can use the app as normalknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
