A Possible PPI Claim Enquiry - Thank you

Options
Hi Martin Lewis, the Money Expert Team and Members,
I hope this message finds you all well. Thank you for accepting me on your membership forum site.

This is my first post on here, so I hope I have done it right and come on the right posting forum?
I wondered if you are able to help and advise me please on something I believe may relate to a PPI Claim?

Early last month (September) Martin Lewis was on this morning tv programme talking with Holly and Philip about PPI, explaining the circumstances on PPI's has changed and expanded out into other areas including catalogues and store cards etc etc, Martin also mentioned about the deadline.

Please may I ask if anyone is able to advise me on how I go about a PPI claim with a catalogue company that put extortionate protection rates on my account that was meant to offer all sorts of "supposed fringe benefits"- however very few I would qualify for, if at all any.
I have had a similar issues in the past with a couple of store cards etc.

I really don’t know what I am doing, where to start or how to go about it?
Please may I ask if anyone is able to advise me, point me in the right direction and if anyone is able to assist me with my questions below:- Thank you

1) How would I go about a PPI claim?
2) What form would I need to get?
3) Where would I get the form from?
4) Where would I send it to?
5) Could the catalogue and store cards claim be done on one form? Or do they need to be done as a separate claim?

Unfortunately I know very little about this subject/area, and I don't seem to be getting anywhere with my research – due to having neurological conditions, which result in me getting very tired very quickly, affecting the general function of my body, I am really struggling to find out what it is I need to do in order to go about a possible PPI Claim Enquiry.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Many thanks and Gratitude

You simply send a complaint to each lender, describing why you think the PPI was missing sold to you. Eg you were unemployed, you had other insurance in place etc.
  • You could start here:

(Sorry I’m new so not allowed to post links yet.)
Have a quick look through all the info, give yourself a break, come back tomorrow and read the bits again that are relevant to you.
There are lots of tips etc to help you get started.
