Hi,
Having a nightmare finding a bath panel to fit the metal bath in our new home, non seem long enough or deep enough, I've even considered getting a gloss sliding door and cutting to fit! Although that might be beyond my ability.
In the end I'm thinking I'll have a go with tongue and grove as it seems cheap and as the bath is shaped i can replace any I cut wrong. Its shaped almost like this: ---\_____/---. Obviously the side bits are level with the top of the slants. I'll try get an image up tomorrow of said bath.
It'll need to be white and I assume I'd need to undercoat and then top coat in some form of white paint (suggestions welcome)? How do I seal the edges I've had to cut? Any suggestions for cutting the dips? I also have some pipework to cut out towards the bottom presumably a hacksaw for this?
More importantly, What do I need to look at for e.g. in b&q? Someone said "real" t&g, someone said flooring or cladding? I'm a bit confused, if someone can recommend what "material" I should be using this would help immensely.
Many thanks, I thought at least a bath panel would have been simple, ah the joys of a new home!

I have used this type of material in a bathroom :-

We are just about to replace our old tongue and groove bath panel with a similar one.
We will give it a coat of Zinsser Bin (wonderful stuff that I wouldn't be without) and a couple of coats of satinwood paint.0
